Why we offer this?
To continue our efforts and to follow our corporate policies, Digital Shift is offering its basic hosting service free of charge to all Registered Canadian Non-Profit Organizations. We have developed this program to provide Non-Profit organizations with a free basic online solution.
About the program
This program helps to promote the organization and its cause to the world. Non-profit organizations receive the NPO Plan free of charge (or can use the value of the NPO Plan as a credit to upgrade to another hosting plan). The community outreach program offers free hosting and requires the non-profit organization to own a domain name. If the organization does not own a domain name, it can register one with Digital Shift.
Who qualifies and what is included?
You must be a registered Canadian not-for-profit organization in good standing. To get started you must request an application from your local account manager. Once your application is reviewed, you will be contacted regarding the next steps. The NPO Plan is provided on our server, and does not apply to our VPS or Dedicated server hosting services.
How does my organization get access?
The organization can have its webmaster easily update the web site (via FTP, or a content management system such as WordPress or Joomla) or have Digital Shift manage the web site. If you have any questions about the NPO plan or would like to register, please contact us. We also offer Not-For-Profit Website design services to organization that do not have a not-for-profit website or require a not-for-profit website redesign.
